I went on a 5 day trip with Cia Eco in September 2009 and it was truly one of the most amazing adventure travel trips I've taken. It was a perfect mix of exercise in a beautiful location on the Atlantic Rainforest coast (2 half days of sea kayaking), cultural- we samba danced and listened to the local music makers at night. We also got an education from a local woodworker who makes boats for toys and also full size for fishermen. We ate like kings, enjoying local dishes and seafood all the time and started mornings slow with coffee and tea. The guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and aware of what we needed. Two surprise experiences on this trip were a favela trip (slum in Rio) which was a wonderful, sensitive affair and playing soccer with local teams in a spontaneous moment. It was one of the most enjoyable trips I've taken and will treasure it.....
